Informal letter

Hi, how are you? I hope everything is going well.Are you having a good time in Eilat? I'm sorry I haven't written in a while, I was busy with my school tests.
I want to tell you about something surprising that has happened to me in the summar.
-
It happened on the eighth of August, on my birthday . I woke up and my parents congratulated me, then I went with my mother to the supermarket because I needed to buy things for my birthday party in the evening. When I got home from the supermarket I saw a letter from my friends Daria and Sara. When I read the letter I understood that they prepared a game for me. The game was a treasure hunt. I started to collect all the letters that they had written to me.

I went from my house to Daria's house, then to Sara's house and in the end I returned to my house and discovered that they had decorated my house with balloons and they gave me a present and a birthday card .

It was a very fun birthday and I enjoyed so much to search for the letters on a treasure hunt. I hope that you enjoyed to read my letter. write soon. I want to know what you think about the surprise that my friends have made for me.

Zodiac

Zodiac denotes an annual cycle of twelve stations along the ecliptic, the apparent path of the Sun across the heavens through the constellations that divide the ecliptic into twelve equal zones of celestial longitude. The zodiac is recognized as the first known celestial coordinate system.

Babylonian astronomers developed the zodiac of twelve signs. Aries March 21 – April 20[15],Taurus April 21 – May 22,Gemini May 22 – June 23,Cancer June 23 – July 23,Leo July 23 – August 23, Virgo August 23 – September 23,Libra September 23 – October 23,Scorpio October 24 – November 22, Sagittarius November 23 – December 21,Capricorn December 22 – January 20, Aquarius January 20 – February 19, Pisces February 19 – March 21.

The zudiacs  are used by the Astrologers but also by the pepole in ever day life.

Chinese calendar

The Chinese calendar is lunisolar, incorporating elements of a lunar calendar with those of a solar calendar. This measure of time is not exclusive to China, but followed by many other Asian cultures. It is often referred to by the Western cultures as the Chinese calendar because it was first used by the Chinese.

The Chinese calendar includes Twelve animals. The animals that represent  the twelve Earthly Branches are, in order, the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep (or goat), monkey, rooster, dog, and pig (or boar).A legend explains the sequence in which the animals were assigned. Supposedly, the twelve animals fought over the precedence of the animals in the cycle of years in the calendar, so the Chinese gods held a contest to determine the order. All the animals lined up on the bank of a river and were given the task of getting to the opposite shore. Their order in the calendar would be set by the order in which the animals managed to reach the other side.

In most of East Asia today, the Gregorian calendar is used for day to day activities, but the Chinese calendar is still used for marking traditional East Asian holidays.

I would like to tell you about the place that I visited with my friend on our annual trip. Masada is the name of a site of ancient palaces and fortress in the South District of Israel on top of an isolated rock plateau.

Masada is a very special place to the Jewish nation.Because 936 inhabitants  were hiding in  Masada from  Roman governor of Judea, Lucius Flavius Silva.He want  to breach the wall of Masada with the Roman legion X Fretensis. The Jewish people that were inside of Masada had set all the buildings but the food storerooms ablaze and committed mass suicide rather than face certain capture, defeat, slavery or execution by their enemies.

I recommand to visit in Masada. Its a very interesting place with a sad history and beautiful  view on the dead sea.

Very short, although well structured. You have a serious spelling problem and many grammar mistakes. I would like to add more to the description of the place - this was, after all the purpose of the assignment.

My name is Anastasia. I am fifteen years old. I was born on the 8th of August. I have brown hair, green eyes and my height is 1.70. I live with my parents and my little brother in Israel. My brother's name is Adam, and he's three years old.

I don't have any special hobbies. I am just as every normal teen - I like watching television, playing on the computer and going out with my friends. I also like to read books. It's nice not to think about anything and take a break from the real world.

I study in the 10th grade in a science class. In science class, we learn all the subjects, like math and English, but we also learn chemisty, biology and physics. There are few subjects I don't like to learn like litreature and Bible- these subjects are boring!

Im my opinion this subjects are boring because in that lessons all that we do is copy from the board and listen to tje teacher.We dont express  ours opinion about the subject of the lesson.

I hope that in this year my greats will be good and that the lessons of  litreature and Bible woll'd be so boring like they use to be in lest year.

Also I hope that teas year will be a good year and a fun year.

 

The person I would like to tell you about is Sara.

She was born on the 28th of September 1993 in Israel and she lives in holon.

I know Sara since the first grade but we became best friend only in the fifth grade and we are still best friends.

-

Sara is very creative persone.She likes to write poems,read books and all the things that are connected to writing.She also loves to listen to music and she knows how  to play on a piano.

Sara is a very calm person and usually dosen't get angry very fast. She is also a very funny,caring and loving pearson.

-

I love to be with her.She is the only one that know all about me and she is always there when I have a problem or when I just need to talk with some one.She know that I am always there for her.

when we are together all what we are doing is laughing or talking about many different things like school,boys.

So thats my best firend Sara. I can say that Sara is like my sister.

I am so glad that I have such a good friend and I thank God every day that I met Sara.
