In the story Burge McCall we read about a relationship between Burge McCall and his wife, Mrs. McCall. Burge McCall was a short, heavy-set man. He was very stingy, a lady killer, violent and selfish .The thing that Burge most heated(sp.) in his wife was the way that she looked at him, that made him nervous. Mrs. McCall was a tall, thin woman with black hair and big black eyes. She didn’t talk a lot and other women always called her Mrs. McCall .

In the firs part of the story Burge McCall and Mrs. McCall hated each other. Burge never could understand he’s(sp.) wife (Start a new sentence) when he called her names, she never answered back, unlike he’s(sp.) two first wife’s(sp.), she only looked at him. One day, Burge slapped he’s(sp.) wife on the face because he didn’t liked(gr.) the way she looked at him.

In the second part of the story Burge changed his attitude towards his wife. He got to taking her to the movies and to picnics. He always spoke nicely to her. Burge started to treat he’s(sp.) wife better because he thought his wife wanted to poison him with rat poison. He became a good and caring husband so MRS. McCall didn't have a reason to poison him.

Finally, Burge and his wife lived a happy life, inspite of all the disagreements and the problems that were between them(phr. - "...that they had.") - Is this your conclusion? It's Ok, but too short and general. And what about your opinion on the change in their relationship?.
